    Study of social life, social institutions, society, culture, social change, and the social causes and consequences through social interaction. It also studies that how people and society affect each other.

Sociologist Perspectives:
  1. Symbolic Interactionist Perspective: According to this perspective, different meanings are given to different symbols during social interaction. For example, meanings attached to Red Rose, Wedding Dress, Religious Dressing, Engagement Ring, etc.
  2. Functionalist Perspective: According to this perspective, all parts of the society are connected and dependent on each other for smooth functioning of the society. For example, schools are there to educate the young generation to make them good citizens, who will pay tax in future and control the state affairs efficiently. On the other hand, parents send their children to school to make their future bright by getting a good job. 
  3. Conflict Perspective: According to this perspective, social conflict is based on class system, and social interdependence is an illusion.
